Two burglary suspects were arrested without incident early Tuesday morning after Long Beach police found them allegedly breaking into a business in the city’s Wrigley neighborhood, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a business on the 800 block of West Willow Street at about 3:45AM on Tuesday, April 12, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokesman Brad Johnson said.
“Upon arrival, an officer observed a suspect exiting through a broken window on the north side of the building,” Johnson stated. “The suspect saw the officer and quickly retreated into the building.”
Assisting officers quickly surrounded the business to contain the suspects and called them out. The two men then exited the business and were arrested without incident for burglary, according to Johnson.
Suspects Roseshon Robinson, 24, of Los Angeles and Davontey Henderson, 26, of Long Beach were booked into Long Beach Jail for commercial burglary. Their bail was set at $20,000 each.
The investigation remains ongoing.
