The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect that was caught on video while robbing a business near Wardlow and Long Beach Blvd.

On March 22 shortly after midnight, a suspect described as a white or Hispanic male entered a local business, approached an employee, and brandished a handgun from his waistband while demanding money. After receiving cash, the suspect fled by foot, last seen heading southbound on Long Beach Blvd.

LBPD describe the suspect as being between 30 and 40 years old, sporting a black cap with “Security” written on it as well as a blue and white jacket, blue jeans, and tan-colored work boots.
