No One Injured in Central Long Beach Shooting; Car Damaged

No one was hit—but one vehicle was damaged—during a shooting this morning in Central Long Beach.

Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officers responded to the scene on the 2000 block of Long Beach Boulevard at about 9:05AM regarding shots heard in the area near the Social Security building, said LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona.

Arriving officers did not find any victims, but a car appears to have sustained damage, Arrona said.

The investigation is ongoing, and no other information was available. We will update the story as we learn more.
