Police arrested a man and a 17-year-old on suspicion of stabbing another man during a road-rage incident in Long Beach Sunday night, according to authorities.

The attack happened around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of 10th Street and Rose Avenue, LBPD spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy said.

After the incident, the victim went to the hospital by himself where he was treated for wounds to his upper body which didn’t appear to be life-threatening, Dandoy said.

Officers quickly found the suspects’ car at a home nearby and arrested the attackers, Dandoy said.

Leno Amador, a 34-year-old Long Beach man was booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and battery, according to police. He was held on $30,000 bail.

The 17-year-old was booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of the same charges, said police, who did not identify him because he’s under 18.

Another man was also hospitalized after a separate stabbing in Downtown a few hours later, according to police.

In that case, there was a fight between two men in the 200 block of Pine Avenue around 1:25 a.m. Monday, Dandoy said. Police arrested the attacker, and the victim was expected to recover, according to Dandoy.
