Someone shot at a vehicle that was driving by in North Long Beach, then shot at a parked vehicle less than a half mile away, authorities said.

Callers reported shots fired at about 1:40 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of East Del Amo Boulevard near Long Beach Boulevard, police spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy said.

When officers got there, they found bullet casings in the area.

Officers then found another crime scene about a third of a mile away on the 40 block of West 49th Street, where a parked vehicle had been struck by gunfire, she said. Detectives believe the shootings are related.

No additional victims came forward and no injuries have been reported. Police do not have any information about the shooter, Dandoy said, and gang detectives are investigating.
