The storefront Long Beach police raided twice.

Long Beach SWAT officers early Thursday morning served a search warrant in the Zaferia neighborhood for an illegal gambling operation at the same business they raided earlier this month, according to authorities.

Vice detectives were investigating a business at 2505 East Anaheim Street at about 3:45 a.m. where they seized gambling machines and found evidence of illegal gambling, police spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy said.

“At this time, detectives believe that the same individuals are involved due to it being the same location,” Dandoy said.

Police say they arrested four people:

  • Chad Pastor, 37, of Long Beach, was booked for two outstanding warrants and is being held on a $65,000 bail
  • Patricia Buckler, 31, of Long Beach, was booked for two outstanding warrants and is being held on $55,000 bail
  • Israel Tabarez Benitez, 37, of Long Beach, was booked for an outstanding warrant and is being held on $1,801 bail
  • Jeremiah Schaffner, 43, of Long Beach, was booked for two outstanding warrants and is being held on $2,500 bail
