Three persons fled a car after it struck four vehicles and a Long Beach Transit bus near Long Beach’s Cambodia Town neighborhood Thursday morning, authorities said.

Officers responded to the traffic collision on Atlantic Avenue and Anaheim Street at about 11:00AM on Thursday, January 7, according to Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Nancy Pratt.

Upon arrival, they discovered that a gold Toyota Camry had struck four vehicles before striking the city bus, she said. All the vehicles sustained minor damage.

“All three occupants in the Camry fled the scene on foot,” Pratt said. According to police dispatch, the occupants were described as three male individuals.

No one involved in the incident was transported to a local hospital but a person in one of the vehicles complained of pain, according to Pratt.

The Camry—which police said was not reported stolen—was impounded.
