Three Long Beach residents have been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of a man who was found in his burning motorhome two weeks ago.

Police arrested Diana Sequen, 20, Jose Alfredo Zolorza, 19, and David Romero, 28, over three days last week in the days after arson investigators discovered the burning motorhome of 61-year-old Thomas Taylor with his body inside. The on-fire RV, which was parked in an alley in the block of 500 W. 17th St. in an industrial section of town, was discovered by officers on routine patrol at around 12:15AM January 28.

After officers put out the flames with fire extinguishers from their patrol vehicle, Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded and located a deceased adult male inside the RV.

Police say Taylor was murdered because of an on-going dispute with the suspects and the fire was an attempt to destroy evidence related to the killing. All three suspects were charged with murder and are being held at Los Angeles County Jail on $1M bail.
