Two separate shootings that occurred in Long Beach on Friday and Saturday evenings left two men injured but alive, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

Friday, November 25

Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Santa Fe Avenue at about 5:55PM, where they found an adult male who had sustained a gunshot injury, according to LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona. The Long Beach Fire Department transported him to a local hospital for what appeared to be a non-life-threatening injury.

Saturday, November 26

Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of West PCH just after 10:00PM regarding a possible shooting, according to Arrona. No victim was located, however a man who sustained a gunshot injury arrived at a local hospital a short time later with an injury that appeared to be non-life-threatening.

The suspects in both cases are outstanding and both investigations remain ongoing.
