Long Beach police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured in North Long Beach on Tuesday night, authorities said.

Police responded to the 6300 block of Long Beach Boulevard at 10:07PM on Tuesday, August 18, in regard to a shooting call, and encountered a man and woman with non-life threatening injuries, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Megan Zabel said.

The victims were then transported to local hospitals.

Officials do not know the motive for the crime and no suspects are in custody, according to Zabel.
