Two vehicles were struck by gunfire Monday night in the city’s Zaferia neighborhood, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

Police were dispatched to a shots heard call near East Ransom Street and Loma Avenue at 10:55PM, LBPD spokesman Sgt. Brad Johnson said.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting. There were no victims, but two vehicles were struck, he said..

The investigation remains ongoing.
