A 22-year-old woman was hospitalized and booked for allegedly driving drunk after crashing into a traffic signal in Belmont Shore early Sunday.

The crash was reported at 12:50 a.m. on March 17 at the intersection of Livingston Drive and Second Street, according to Long Beach Police spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy.

Arriving officers found the driver, Escondido resident Savannah Camp, lying on the south side of the intersection.

Paramedics transported her to a local hospital in stable condition, Dandoy said.

Authorities said Camp was driving east on Livingston when she crashed into the traffic signal.

She appeared to be under the influence, Dandoy said, and was booked for DUI and released on $15,000 bail.

No other injuries were reported.
