Long Beach resident Eric Jerome Williams Jr., 29, was booked for murder and is being held at Long Beach City Jail on $1 million bail, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Chestnut Avenue on Tuesday, December 22, at about 8:30AM regarding a possible domestic violence incident in progress, authorities said.

Two men, including Williams, were detained at the location.

The unharmed boy is in the custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

Any relationship between the child, the men and the victim is unclear at the moment.
