A woman died last week hours after she was shot in the head inside a North Long Beach home, police said Sunday.
Imani Keith, a 21-year-old from Los Angeles, was wounded around 12:10 a.m. on June 28 at a home in the 1100 block of Via Wanda, which is part of the Carmelitos Housing Project, according to authorities.
Paramedics rushed her to a nearby hospital where she died around 3 p.m. that day, police said.
Police said last week that the shooting may be gang-related but said Sunday that they hadn’t determined a motive for the slaying or arrested anyone in connection with it.
