The first week of classes at Cal State Long Beach (CSULB) are over, allowing students to rest from what was no doubt a stressful couple of days, as many tried to find parking, textbooks, classrooms and good food.
But wait—what were some of their thoughts going back to school? What were their worries, joys and pains? Thanks to social media, the Post was able to gather some serious intel on what the first week was like and some of those posts in the Twittersphere and Instagram world were no surprise.
It appears parking was a hassle, to say the least:
Parking is so rough at CSULB this term that I saw a kid with the most prime spot sleeping in his car with a pillow and blanket at 630am

with $150 for parking you’d think CSULB would have personal suites for your cars rather than a battle royale for a space 5 miles from class

Walking was no easy feat either…
They should put on the application for CSULB “will be fit after a semester walking the campus”

Students pointed out some of the more quirky aspects of CSULB…
still laughing at the fact that csulb has chalkboards in the bathroom stalls so you can write messages to people while doing your business
