The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert Sunday night to aid in the search for a Long Beach man who went missing on Halloween.

Daniel Chavez, 72, was last seen at about 10 p.m. Saturday near Sherman Place and East 15th Street, the CHP said.

“Chavez suffers from a medical condition(s) and may become disoriented,” the CHP said.

He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 175 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a Los Angeles Rams shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He has a gray mustache in the photo released by the CHP.

Anyone who sees Chavez should call 911, the CHP said.
