For those who couldn’t afford to take time off to attend the Democratic Convention in Denver this week, Smooth’s Sports Bar & Grille will be hosting a series of viewing parties for your political (and dining) convenience.
Tonight at 7:00pm, join the Long Beach Junior Chamber for their monthly Beer & Politics event. In order to view the convention, there will not be the usual discussion with distinguished speakers tonight. But there will still be plenty of politics and, of course, beer.
On Wednesday night, 54th Assembly Democratic candidate and City Councilwoman Bonnie Lowenthal will be at Smooth’s to host the viewing party of Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden. The fun begins at 6:00pm.
At 5:00pm on Thursday, the Long Beach Democratic Club will host the viewing party and watch as Barack Obama is officially named the Democratic Presidential candidate.
