A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy suffered minor injuries in a crash in Bellflower, authorities said this morning.

The deputy was responding to a call around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday when he was reportedly cut off by another vehicle on Downey Avenue between 64th Street and Artesia Boulevard and collided with a parked vehicle, according to the sheriff’s department.

Two pedestrians and the deputy suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, the department said.

Video from the scene showed the deputy’s vehicle on the sidewalk of Downey Avenue and at least two other vehicles with front-end damage.

The name of the deputy was not released.
