A woman was hospitalized Friday morning following a three-vehicle crash in East Long Beach, authorities said.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Bellflower Boulevard and Los Coyotes Diagonal.

The woman was driving westbound on Los Coyotes Diagonal when she ran through a red light at the intersection and collided with two other vehicles, police said.

The woman was transported by Long Beach Fire Department personnel to a local hospital for treatment, authorities said, adding that her injuries appeared not to be life-threatening.
