A woman was injured Tuesday morning after crashing a vehicle into a light pole in Belmont Shore.
It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the crash, but according to the Long Beach Police Department, it happened sometime around 4:51 a.m. in the area of Second Street and Bayshore Avenue.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the woman at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
She cooperated with the investigation, authorities said, and at this time, they do not believe that she was driving under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred.
