The project is currently in the final stages before starting phase one in October 2011. Alta Way has been approved for vehicular closure and EVA now has the green light to begin this beautification project. The first phase will include cut-outs along the fence line of Alta Way and Frontnec Court, planting of drought tolerant and butterfly friendly plants and vines, murals, and general cleanup of the area.
The purpose of this community forum is to Inform community members and businesses of the current state of the project and to get feedback for future phases of the project. The meeting will be held at Alley425, an art gallery located on Broadway between Linden and Elm, at 425 Broadway Ave.
