UPDATE | Elizabeth “Lizzie” Mounce Hampton, the North Long Beach teen with Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD who went missing after being seen near her home a week ago, has been found, according to her grandfather’s Facebook page.
Mounce Hampton was found in Gardena on Saturday, August 20 with a skateboard with her name on it and a smartphone, according to social media.
“She is OK but didn’t know who she was,” said her grandfather, Mike Mounce, on his Facebook page.
Mounce thanked all those looking for her and asked Facebook friends to share the news.
This report was updated at 2:49PM, correcting Mounce’s status as Elizabeth’s grandfather.

Family, friends and police are currently seeking information from the public regarding an autistic North Long Beach teenager who has been missing since Monday, various social media posts announced this week.
The police confirmed the teen’s status as a missing reported person, last seen leaving her home in North Long Beach at 6:30AM on Monday, today.
The family believes that the girl, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Mounce Hampton, was likely wandering around North Long Beach when she purchased a pass that shows her taking the redline to downtown Los Angeles, exiting at the Pershing Square Station located at 5th and Hill, according to her father’s Facebook post.
Mounce Hampton is approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall and around 150 pounds, according to her father’s Facebook post. She wears glasses, hazel eyes and pierced ears.
According to her father, she is high functioning but has special needs, particularly Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD.
On the day she was missing, she was wearing blue cheetah print jeans, a black T-Shirt with pink fishnet sleeves, pink sandals, and blue glasses.
