Authorities have identified a 26-year-old man killed when his vehicle went over the side of the southbound 710 Freeway in Long Beach, south of the northbound 405 Freeway.

The crash occurred a little before 7:25 a.m. Saturday, the California Highway Patrol reported. The vehicle became engulfed in flames and the man was trapped inside.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene after firefighters extinguished the flames. The coroner’s office identified him Thursday as Quinn Donohoe, though his city of residence was not known.
