11:00am | Police are trying to piece together exactly what happened in a possibly gang-related shooting this week that claimed the life of a 15-year old Long Beach boy.

Around 2:15am early Monday, two male suspects on bicycles approached 15-year old Mao Eng in the 400 block of Dawson Avenue, and one of the suspects shot Eng in the torso with a handgun. Eng was transported to a hospital in stable condition but died later on Monday evening.

Police say the suspects are possibly Hispanics in their late teens or early twenties, and are asking for community help in apprehending the shooters.
