Long Beach fire crews doused a garage fire along the outskirts of Cambodia Town Monday night, according to a fire official.

The blaze started around 8:45 p.m. sending more than half a dozen fire rigs to the scene on Stanley Avenue just north of Anaheim Street.

There, crews battled a fire that was charring several detached garages outside a small residential complex, according to Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Jake Heflin.

Crews doused the flames without any injuries, Heflin said. Investigators were working to determine the cause of the fire.
