6:15am | Long Beach police said four men were taken to a local hospital early Sunday morning after they were stabbed during a fight downtown.
The fight occurred near Broadway and The Promenade at about 1:35 a.m. between two groups of people, according to information provided by Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Lisa Massacani.
The victims were able to escape, taking shelter in a nearby business while they waited for authorities to arrive, Massacani said.
All four were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, she said.
The motive for the attack was unknown as of Sunday afternoon, and police did not release any suspect descriptions.
