2:08pm | To lend a holiday hand, some jolly folks in a large colorful sleigh have been traveling around the Southland to hand out presents.
But this is no Santa Claus story.
The crews from Honda Helpful representing Southern California Honda dealerships have been driving their huge blue truck around for the past few weeks, helping out lucky boys and girls by providing free gas to people driving Hondas. They were in Long Beach last week and will continue their spirited ways until Christmas Day.
You can identify the Helpful Honda truck because it is huge, bright blue, and features the slogan “Free gas for Hondas, not that they need it.”
Lucky drivers in North Long Beach received free gas, clean windows and gas cards after tracking down the Honda Helpful team by tracking their Twitter updates to an Atlantic Avenue gas station. Check out @HelpfulHonda to stay abreast of their movements.
