4:22pm | There are a dozen ways to treecycle your Christmas trees in Long Beach this season, and you may even get to hang out with a celebrity while you do it.
In addition to the many free tree drop-off zones across the city, characters from the upcoming Disney On Ice performance will host a special event at the Long Beach Police North Sub-Station next Tuesday, January 4 from 3:30-4:30pm. Yes, Mickey and Minnie will help you treecycle before their show opens at the Long Beach Arena on January 5. The Sub-Station is located at 4891 N. Atlantic.
In addition to that special event, the City also offers free tree drop-off zones at more than ten locations from now until January 7. Click here to see a PDF map of the locations.
