As part of the READY Long Beach Expo, first responders from the Long Beach Fire Department Urban Search and Rescue climbed, then rappelled down the side of the 18-story Walter Pyramid at Cal State Long Beach on Saturday afternoon.

The expo also featured helicopter landings, emergency vehicle displays, CPR training and safety demonstrations.
