Harbor Breeze Cruises on Tuesday christened the newest (and largest) special events vessel to operate in the Long Beach harbor, the Sir Winston, which will be available for private dining and other occasions.
The ship is the ninth vessel operated by the cruise line, founded 20 years ago with one fishing boat in Rainbow Harbor.
City and company officials, along with members of the public, welcomed the 130-foot yacht with a ceremonial breaking of a champagne bottle.
Some facts and numbers about the ship:
- It has five decks with table seating for 250 guests (second deck) and 125 guests (Commodore’s Lounge)
- It has four service bars
- Eight restrooms
- DJ/Live Band area on any deck, a dance floor and private cabin and sitting room.
