Long Beach Mayor-Elect Rex Richardson and other citywide elected officials and councilmembers will be sworn in during a public inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 20.
The ceremony is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Terrace Theater in Downtown Long Beach, with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.. A reception and celebration will follow in the Pacific Ballroom at the Convention Center.
The ceremony will also include the inaugurations of:
- City Attorney-Elect Dawn McIntosh
- City Prosecutor Doug Haubert
- City Auditor Laura Doud
- 1st District Councilwoman Mary Zendejas
- 3rd District Councilwoman-Elect Kristina Duggan
- 5th District Councilwoman-Elect Megan Kerr
- 7th District Councilmember Roberto Uranga
- 9th District Councilwoman-Elect Dr. Joni Ricks-Oddie
