Local writers and reporters from publications of all kinds throughout the city came together last week at Nino’s to mark the first ever meeting of the Long Beach Press Club. The group, organized by the District Weekly’s Dave Wielenga and the Press-Telegram’s Kelly Puente and Kris Hanson, discussed cooperation between groups and reporting strategies.
