Sheriff’s detectives asked for public help Saturday to find a 41-year-old man who went missing in Paramount.

Jason Allen Karaus was last seen on June 21 around 1 p.m. in the 6500 block of San Vicente Street, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Miguel Meza.

Karaus likes to frequent the San Gabriel River bed, Meza said.

He is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds, Meza said. He has blond buzz-cut hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who has information about his whereabouts was asked to call the LASD’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
