Lazy Acres to debut remodeled store with free samples, discounts

A decade after coming to the Los Altos Center, Lazy Acres will formally unveil its remodeled grocery store that now includes upgraded poke bowl and coffee and juice bars, a new selection of prepared foods and more customer seating.

The organic-focused market also added a testing station for beauty and personal care products and more sustainable items from local vendors, and it’s introducing a program that allows customers who bring reusable bags to earn donations for local nonprofits, according to a press release from the company.

A two-week celebration of the refreshed Lazy Acres kicks off Wednesday, March 15, with discounts for shoppers. On March 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the store will offer free samples, a scavenger hunt for kids, games and giveaways of gift cards and reusable bags.

Lazy Acres is at 2080 Bellflower Blvd. More information is at lazyacres.com.
