Three arson cases have been solved by the Long Beach Fire Department’s Arson Unit, resulting in the arrest of three individuals.

On February 14, a fire broke out at 1077 Orange Avenue. The following day, a female was arrested and charged with arson as well as a violation of her probation.

Last August, a vehicle was found burning near 17th Street and Daisy Avenue. On February 16, a male was arrested and charged with arson and insurance fraud.

On February 19, a male decided to burn his belongings in his backyard, ultimately leading to his arrest and being charged with falsifying identification to a police officer and illegal burning without a permit.
