5:15pm | The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday that its Green Business Council has launched a website to further its mission of advocating for and promoting environmentally sound technologies and business practices.

The new site’s web address is LBChamber.com/GBC/index.html.

“The Long Beach Green Business Council is a critical component to Long Beach business growth,” said GBC President-elect Clay Sandidge in a statement. “We have a great mass of business in the area that will help propel our community into the next wave of growth. By building on the massive capital improvement projects in the region, we will all be able to grow and ride the green wave together. The time to catch the wave is now.”
