It’s not going to be a white Christmas in Long Beach, but it could be a wet one.

Long Beach should expect to get a showering starting Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service. Winds are also expected to blow 5 to 10 mph on Sunday.

Showers and a possible thunderstorm are expected Monday after 10 a.m. with winds that could gust as high as 15 mph. The rain will likely continue in the night, yielding to a possibly sunny Christmas Eve. Chances of showers on Tuesday are 20% and temperatures are expected to be a high near 60 degrees.

The NWS expects a chance of rain on Christmas day and temperatures at a high of 58 degrees. Rain is “likely” that night and on Thursday.
