Long Beach police ask for help in identifying 2 women suspects in local wallet robbery and assault

Authorities today sought the public’s help in identifying and locating two women in Long Beach who attacked a woman and ran off with her wallet, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Peace Street at a little before 12:50 p.m. Thursday, June 24 regarding a robbery to a person.

The victim had been walking down the street when the two suspects tried to take her purse, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
