11:00am | It’s voting day across the nation as Americans will turn out to perform their civic duty in the 2010 Mid-Term Elections, and there is a lot riding on the line in Long Beach.

Not only will we elect a new Governor today, there are also close races between candidates for Attorney General, U.S. Senator, Treasurer, several Congressmembers and State Assemblymembers and more. Locally, there are four ballot measures focused in Long Beach: Measures GG, B, C and D. Visit the website of the Long Beach City Clerk for impartial analysis, pro and con arguments for each. Recently, an independent poll conducted by the Long Beach Post and Probolsky Research indicated how local residents will vote on each issue. You can find those preliminary results here.
