The Long Beach Water Department is cautioning customers receiving door-to-door calls from a company offering to install a free high-efficiency toilet due to the current drought. According to the department, the company is falsely claiming representation of the City of Long Beach.

Released today, the announcement reads, “The City of Long Beach does not affiliate itself with, nor endorse any contractor. Customers entering an agreement with the company’s services are doing so at their own risk for quality of service installation and materials.”
