4:15pm | Need a lift to the polls tomorrow?
To help get out the vote, Long Beach Yellow Cab will offer free rides to voters on their way to cast their ballot during tomorrow’s election. Anyone interested can call 562.444.4444, use the code “Account LB Vote” and state their nearest polling location to arrange a ride.
“This is something we do during each election, but many people don’t know about the service,” said Sergio Carrillo, Director of Public Affairs for Long Beach Yellow Cab. “We are happy to do our part to help Get Out the Vote.”
To find your nearest polling place, visit this link on the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk website and enter your home address. Polls will be open tomorrow from 7:00am-8:00pm. If you’ve already voted by mail, click here to track the status of your ballot.
