A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Long Beach on Thursday morning and his condition is unknown, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

Police responded to the injury traffic collision on Magnolia Avenue and West Pacific Coast Highway at 7:38AM on Thursday, December 17, LBPD officials said.

The adult male victim was transported to a local hospital by paramedics. His condition is unknown, LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said.

PCH was closed from Chestnut to Magnolia avenues for a few hours Thursday morning while police investigated the incident.
