A man suffered a non-life-threatening wound to his upper body after he was struck by a bullet in North Long Beach on Saturday evening, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
At 7:49 p.m., police were dispatched to a local hospital regarding the shooting. Police said that the man had been shot by an “unknown suspect” while he was in the area of Market Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
The victim, however, was uncooperative with the investigation, which is ongoing.
Police found evidence of a shooting in the area that included casings.
No other information about the incident was immediately available.
