Less than a week after being one of seven medical-marijuana dispensaries raided by the Long Beach Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration, 4th Street Long Beach Natural Solutions has re-opened.

According to a banner out front, the dispensary, which was the focus of a protest last month by residents of the East Village neighborhood and the co-owners of the ACE Hardware franchise across the street, is a “new co-operative” under “new management.”

Next to the banner is a new sign, which advises patients of various dispensary regulations—e.g., “NO loitering in front of CO-OP,” “NO Self medicating on premises,” “Please RESPECT neighbors.”

The Long Beach Post received no reply to a request to speak with a management member of the dispensary.

According to the City of Long Beach, all medpot dispensaries are illegal under Long Beach Municipal Code Sec. 5.89.
