For future evaluation, the City Council is asking all concerned citizens to attend a public meeting on Wednesday, October 10 to provide feedback on the Downtown Entertainment District Pilot Program.

This will be the latest in a series of meetings being held to gather feedback for City Council evaluation of the pilot program. The meeting agenda will include the status of the Entertainment District, Police and Community Development updates and an open forum for discussing noise, traffic, security or other matters.

The Long Beach City Council approved the Downtown Entertainment District Pilot Program on January 17, 2006, to standardize entertainment permits, including closing hours, noise and security requirements and other items.
