Memorial Service Announced for Long Beach Police K-9 Credo, Killed During Officer-Involved Shooting

k9 credo photoA memorial service has been scheduled for Long Beach Police K-9 Credo, who was killed by friendly fire during an officer-involved shooting Tuesday that also led to the fatal shooting of an attempted murder suspect.

The service will be held Wednesday, July 20 at 1:00PM at the LBPOA Park, located at 7390 East Carson Street at the Long Beach Towne Center behind Lowe’s hardware store.

Authorities encourage carpooling due to limited parking.

In lieu of flowers, the Parcells family requests Credo’s memory be honored by donating to:
