Editor’s note: Police were notified at 5 a.m. Tuesday that Leopoldo Flores Alfaro was found at a medical facility in Torrance.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 72-year-old man with medical conditions who went missing in Long Beach near Signal Hill on Friday afternoon.

Leopoldo Flores Alfaro was last seen by a relative walking away from his home near the area of Hill Street and Obispo Avenue at around 3 p.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department. Police don’t know where he was heading unknown, they added.

Flores Alfaro suffers from medical conditions and may easily become disoriented, police said. He is described as a Hispanic man at 5 feet and 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. Police don’t know what clothing he was last seen wearing.
