After asking for the public’s help, the Long Beach Police Department found missing 72-year-old Noorieh Manavi-Nameghi at a Starbucks in Buena Park.

Manavi-Nameghi was last seen at her home near Pacific Coast Highway and Ultimo Avenue on September 15. Family members immediately became concerned at her disappearance, given the elderly woman’s Alzheimer’s and dementia; she had previously wandered from her home and was clipped by a vehicle when she meandered onto the 405 Freeway.

On September 16, concerned Starbucks employees contacted Buena Park Police regarding Manavi-Nameghi, who had shown a lack of well-being while hanging around the establishment.

Though it still remains unclear how she ended up in Buena Park, Manavi-Nameghi appeared to be in good health when she was reunited with family members.
