Long Beach Waste Management plans to restart recycling service on Tuesday, but the missed Friday/Monday collections will not be made up.
For commercial/industrial refuse accounts, Waste Management said that, as of Saturday, they have serviced most of the commerical/industrial accounts in Long Beach. (Monday collection area is North Long Beach to Bixby Knolls).
The interruption in service is due to a labor dispute.
