A big rig hauling a load of gravel was involved in a collision and overturned on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Long Beach today, prompting the closure of freeway connector roads in the area while crews cleared the scene, authorities said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, which was reported at 12:50AM on the northbound 710 Freeway just north of the Artesia (91) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported. At least two other vehicles were involved, according to the CHP.

The connector roads from the eastbound and westbound 91 Freeway to the northbound 710 Freeway were closed while crews worked to clear the scene. All roadways were reopened by about 6:30AM, the CHP reported.
